Please let me take a moment to introduce myself and tell you about my background.

I am a second generation native San Franciscan. Both sets of grandparents emigrated to the United States at the turn of the century. My mother's parents, the O'Leary side of the family, arrived from County Cork, Ireland. My father's family came here from Northern Italy.

Growing up in San Francisco was quite exciting. My father was a San Francisco fire fighter and we were able, as youngsters, to play at the firehouse, ride the trucks and slide down the pole. While in elementary and high school, I was interested in sports and tried my hand at just about every sport the CYO or the schools had to offer. Track and cross country were my favorites but football was also high on the list.

After High School I attended City College of San Francisco and then transferred to the University of San Francisco. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.

I married another native San Franciscan, Sandra, and we soon had three children. Michelle now lives with her husband in Livermore and teaches in Hayward. Lisa works for the Pleasanton Police Department and lives in Pleasanton. Brian, a Paramedic, and his wife live in Dublin. All three children are graduates of the Pleasanton School District and California State University, Hayward.

While in college, I was working at Sears Roebuck and Co. in the credit department and decided to make that my career. My career blossomed and we were relocated to different stores and credit centrals . Each move added responsibility and prestige. At the same time, I was being approached by several Career Placement firms. An offer from I. Magnin and Federated Department Stores ended my career at Sears.

I took the position of Senior Director of Credit Services at I. Magnin in San Francisco. My responsibilities involved supervising the entire credit operation and the cash office operation in the 25 stores across the country. During this three year period, I had developed an interest in a Real Estate. I decided to get my license and left I. Magnin to begin a new and challenging career in Real Estate.

I started my new career with a local brokerage in Pleasanton. Two years later, I had my Brokers license and began doing training for that company. I continued to serve my clients while managing that brokerage and later managed The Prudential California Realty in Pleasanton. Throughout my career in Real Estate I have maintained a level of production which has kept me in the top 3 percent of all agents. I attribute this success to my personal commitment to do my very best and the consistent referrals received from my clients and acquaintances. As a Realtor, I have been active in the local and state associations serving President of the Southern Alameda Association of Realtors and as a Director to the State Association for 8 years.

In June 2002, Wayside Park Realty was established by myself and my business partner. It is our goal to create a more personal environment that will allow us to provide an even higher level of service to you.
